Weebly migration: your questions

Weebly migration: your questions

Weebly migration: your questions

The questions Weebly website owners ask us most often.
When exactly is Weebly closing down?
There are three key dates in the closure process. Since 29 June 2026, it has no longer been possible to publish new pages. Since 27 September 2026, the websites have been offline. On 26 December 2026, Weebly accounts will be closed and their content will no longer be recoverable.
How is the migration to WSiteBuilder going?
Simply enter your Weebly website address and you’ll get an instant preview in our editor. If your Weebly site is already offline, we can migrate it using your login details.
If you’re happy with how it looks, you can create your account and start your 30-day free trial: our team will take over the pages, text, images and structure, then hand it back to you for any final tweaks.
Is migration really free?
Yes, regardless of the size of the website, and you can try out your new website for free for 30 days. To keep it, you then upgrade to a premium plan and simply pay for your subscription, either monthly or annually: Standard from €10 excl. VAT per month, Pro from €14 excl. VAT per month (paid annually).
Will I lose my Google ranking?
No. The page URLs, titles, descriptions and heading structure are carried over exactly as they were, and your domain name remains the same. Google finds the same pages at the same URLs.
My website is already offline: can it still be recovered?
Yes, as long as your Weebly account remains active, i.e. until 26 December 2026. Please provide your Weebly login details when placing your order: we will migrate your site from your account.
What will happen to my domain name and my email addresses?
You keep your domain name, whether it was purchased from Weebly or elsewhere: we’ll help you link it to your new website. Your email addresses will continue to work; they aren’t tied to the website builder.
How long does the migration take?
In most cases, please allow a few working days, and 24 hours for the first point of contact following your registration. Websites comprising several dozen pages take a little longer; we will let you know the estimated timeframe as soon as we have analysed your site.
